ISLAMABAD: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) has announced research fellowships for students, scholars, and institutions in Mauritania.
This initiative aims to strengthen scientific ties and build capacity in Mauritania.
The COMSTECH-Mauritania Program is a joint effort by COMSTECH and the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, Mauritania.
It offers research fellowships to young researchers and early-stage scientists/engineers in Mauritania, enabling them to spend six months at centers of excellence in OIC member states, particularly Pakistan.
The program’s primary objective is to enhance the research and development capacity of promising researchers and engineers from Mauritania at the beginning of their careers.
This will foster linkages for further collaboration in their fields.
