Sindh govt announces matric, intermediate exams dates

KARACHI: In an educational advancement, the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department on Thursday announced matric and intermediate exams schedule for the year 2025-26.

Following a meeting of the Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee, the dates for the matric and intermediate exams were revealed.

The department has made the decision to hold Sindh’s matric and intermediate exams in March and April, respectively.

As per the committee’s decision, Sindh’s ninth and tenth grade exams will begin on March 15 while the province’s intermediate exams will begin on April 15.

Additionally, on July 15 and August 15, respectively, the results of the matric and intermediate exams will be made public.

In Sindhi schools, the new school year will start in April 2025, whereas in universities, it will start on August 1, 2025.
