SZAMBU MDCAT 2024 result announced: Complete updates here!

LAHORE: The Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) Islamabad has announced the much-awaited results of the MDCAT 2024 on Saturday.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday directed SZABMU to upload the question papers of the MDCAT, 2024 conducted by the university on the website.

To check the MDCAT result of SZAMBU, Islamabad, visit the university’s official website https://admission.szabmu.edu.pk/downloadresultcard

After visiting the website, enter the MDCAT 2024 roll number in the designated field and download your result card.

Earlier on Thursday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) allowed SZAMBU to release the MDCAT exam results 2024 on September 28 (today).

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued this order while hearing the petitions to cancel the medical entrance test due to questions outside the syllabus. A day earlier, the High Court had stopped the university from declaring the results.

The petition has claimed that in the MDCAT, which was held on Sept 22 and given by over 20,000 candidates, around 27 out of 200 questions were out of course.

Meanwhile, SZABMU Vice Chancellor Dr. Tariq Iqbal said the nine-member committee analyzed all the questions and decided to give six grace marks. As per the notification issued by the university, “Following the recommendation of independent subject experts, we have decided to delete six questions.

Five questions were deleted for being more challenging than anticipated while 1 question was found to allow for more than one possible interpretation, the notification added.
