ISLAMABAD: Late on the night of 29th and 30th April, four Rafale fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force were conducting a freedom of navigation flight, near Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), while remaining within Indian sovereign territory, according to sources.
According to the security officials, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) quickly detected the presence of the Indian aircraft and reacted promptly and accurately.
The Pakistan Air Force‘s swift action reportedly confused the Indian pilots and forced the Rafale aircraft to turn back without escalating the situation.
It was noted by security officials that the Pakistan Armed Forces and all its institutions are always vigilant and entirely capable of forceful response actions to any form of Indian aggression.
The Pakistan Air Force‘s presence during this time is being characterized as an assertive deterrent to any misadventure. This incident and the consequent analysis highlight the existing tensions in the region as both air forces maintain a heightened state of informed vigilance, particularly in light of increased military force movements.
