LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday confirmed the five-match schedule against Bangladesh starting from May 25 to June 3, according to the press release by PCB.
The Bangladesh Cricket team will arrive on May 21 and undergo training from May 22 to 24 at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
Initially, both teams were set to play three T20s and three ODIs, but after the understanding between both boards, now five T20 Internationals will be played between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The decision was taken in light of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Iqbal Stadium will host the International Matches after 17 years. The venue has previously hosted 24 Tests and 16 ODIs between 1978 and 2008. The stadium’s last international fixture was an ODI between Bangladesh and Pakistan in April 2008.
According to PCB, the First two matches will be played in Faisalabad and the remaining matches will be hosted by Lahore in the Gaddafi Stadium with all matches being played at 8 pm local time.
