ISLAMABAD: A fire broke out suddenly in an LPG refilling station in the Gulzar e Quaid area of Rawalpindi on Saturday night.
The District Emergency Service arrived promptly at the scene and avoided a huge tragedy. Rescue 1122 official stated that late on Saturday night, a fire unexpectedly broke out in an LPG refilling station in the Gulzar e Quaid neighborhood.

The fire engulfed several nearby gas cylinders quickly, which resulted in multiple gas explosions. Firefighters and fire tenders from Rescue 1122 hurried to the scene of the incident and stopped the fire from spreading.
The Rescue 1122 spokesperson added that the Fire broke out in a three-story building’s basement. The fire was successfully put out by firefighters before it spread to the building’s residential apartments.
