ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, the founder and former prime minister of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his wife Bushra Bibi will be charged with corruption in the Toshakhana and Al-Qadir Trust cases today (Tuesday).
The Accountability Court was unable to indict Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi on Monday and postponed the proceedings until today (Tuesday) due to Bushra Bibi’s absence.

Muhammad Bashir, an Accountability Court judge hearing the case at Adiala Jail, postponed the framing of charges against Khan and his wife in the Toshakhana and the £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) scam, also known as the Al-Qadir Trust cases.
Khan and his sisters attended the hearing at Adiala Jail.
The PTI chief and his wife’s counsel, Shoaib Shaheen, Barrister Umair Naizi, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Deputy Prosecutor General, Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi, prosecutor Amjad Pervez, and Irfan Bola, all appeared in court.

According to sources, if Bushra Bibi fails to appear in court today, the court will issue arrest warrants and she will be arrested.
The PTI founder received copies of the Al-Qadir Trust case during the hearing.
Due to Bushra Bibi’s absence, the court was unable to charge Khan and his wife.
