PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) finance department has announced the release of a grant of Rs 1150 million. This grant will be distributed among deserving families as an Eid package.
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Cabinet, which has given a green signal to the Eid package, allocated ten thousand rupees in cash to deserving people across the province.

In a letter to the Zakat department, the finance department requested that Rs 10,000 be given to each worthy family.
According to the report, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister has offered an Eid package for those families who were not able to receive the Ramazan package.

Also, the provincial government has announced giving cash to the citizens during Ramadan. According to KP Food Minister Zahir Shah, the cabinet approved providing cash instead of food packages to the citizens.
