Mandatory for all MPs and MPAs to submit statement of assets and liabilities of their spouses and dependent children

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has said that the last date for submission of statements of assets and liabilities of members of parliament and members of provincial assemblies for the financial year 2022-23 is Dec 31, 2023.

Under Section 137 of the Elections Act 2017, it is mandatory for all MPs and MPAs to submit the statement of assets and liabilities of their spouses and dependent children for the financial year 2022-23 on Form B to the Election Commission on or before Dec 31, 2023.

The prescribed form along with the instructions/guidelines prepared in this regard could be obtained free of cost from Election Commission Secretariat Islamabad, concerned provincial election commissioner offices, Senate Secretariat, national and provincial assemblies secretariat. Additionally, Form B can also be downloaded from the ECP website.
