She emphasized that the government will deliver Ramadan packages to those who deserve them. “We’ve dubbed it Ramadan Negahban. People fast and stand in long lines; we will ensure that the poor’s rights are given to their doorstep without delay,” stated the chief minister.

While talking to the press, CM Punjab stated that the team completed a wonderful workout of the Ramadan package at her and Nawaz Sharif’s request, such a thing has not been done in 76 years.

High-quality ghee, flour, sugar, rice, and besan are included in this relief package. A hamper contains 10 kg flour, 2 kg ghee, 2 kg sugar, 2 kg rice, and 2 kg gram flour (besan), she said.

There will be no compromise on the quality of items in the Ramadan package, Maryam Nawaz added. “We will survey more than 12 crore people in the next three to four months to reach the beneficiaries easily”, she added.

Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz said data have been collected from the Benazir Income Support Program and NADRA to gather the information of the deserving people.

Additionally, she said, 46,000 raids, 133 FIRs, 236 arrests, and 42 lakh rupees were fined yesterday to maintain the prices. All over the world, people are given relief during Ramadan, but here there is a lot of inflation during Ramadan.
