PIA air hostess arrested at Toronto airport over illegal activity

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) stewards continue to put the national flag carrier in bad light. In the recent incident, a PIA air hostess has been arrested in Canada ‘Toronto’ for carrying multiple passports.

Air hostess Hina Sani, who arrived in Toronto on PK-789, was arrested as Canadian immigration authorities found multiple passports belonging to different individuals from her possession.

The airline spokesperson has confirmed her arrest. The accused is said to be a family member of famous Pakistani singer.

According to media report, seven other flight attendants who were with Hina Sani on flight PK 789, were designated as no-flyers by the airline for Toronto.

Revelations surfaced, the air hostess got special permission from senior officials, using her own ID, which is against the protocol.

While another two air hostesses on the same flight were also probed but were released after the later after the investigation.
