14 holidays announced in KP: Details inside

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) students will have a lengthy break from school on account of Eid and Spring holidays.

The spring break schedule for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s educational institutions was released on Friday.

The Elementary and Secondary Education Department (ESED) in Peshawar has announced that all public and private educational institutions would be closed from April 1 to April 8 for spring vacation.

Given that Eid is most likely to fall on April 10, the students will probably enjoy an extended two-week break. In order to maintain the efficient operation of administrative matters, the announcement said that spring vacations would not be offered to head teachers, principals, or clerical personnel.

It also stated that additional members of the school staff will be present to greet new students and give out free books. According to the announcement, both plains and highlands areas will observe the spring break.
