ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Azam Swati today surrendered himself before the court.
According to the details, the duty judge Rukhshanda Shaheen heard the case in the Special Court (Central) Islamabad.
Azam Swati appeared before the court accompanied by his lawyers Ali Bukhari and Murtaza Toori.
The court approved Azam Swati’s petition seeking pre-arrest bail and granted him interim bail until April 20.

The case against Azam Swati was registered by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for his controversial tweets.
Earlier, a special court issued arrest warrants for PTI leader Azam Swati due to his continuous absence from the case hearings, declaring him a “scoundrel.” Special Judge Shahrukh Arjumand directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest the former federal minister and present him before his court.
