The former ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated former federal minister Omar Ayub Khan as its candidate for the prime minister’s slot.
While speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, PTI leader and former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser announced the development after he held a meeting with PTI Founder Imran Khan.

Asad Qaiser has said that he has been given the task of holding talks with all the political parties including Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s JUI-F, ANP, Qaumi Watan Party, and others, who are demonstrating against election 2024 rigging. The PTI leader added that we will also talk with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and other nationalist parties.
“PTI will start a nationwide protest campaign against election irregularities, the date of which will be revealed this evening. Rallies and protests will be held all over the country,” Asad Qaiser stated.
