PTI to stage public rally in Islamabad on March 23

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Sher Afzal Marwat announced to organize a public rally in Islamabad on March 23.

Addressing the participants of the rally held in Islamabad on Sunday, Sher Afzal Marwat said the party will hold a historic rally in Islamabad on March 23.

Furthermore, he added that we have requested the deputy commissioner for permission. However, If permission is not granted, we will seek permission from the High Court for a public gathering on March 23, he added.

He urged the people to come out in support of Imran Khan and reclaim the stolen mandate. It is necessary to come out now, you are our strength, when the call for the meeting is given, consider it as the call of the founder of PTI and go out on the streets, he added.

PTI’s lawmaker invited citizens of the whole country including Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Addressing the public, he said that PTI will hold a rally after Iftar at 10:00 PM.

While addressing in rally held at the National Press Club on Sunday, Marwat condemned the arrests of PTI workers and leaders as “deplorable and intolerable,” urging the Punjab government to respect the right to peaceful protest.
