The Punjab government has announced the new school timings for March 2024. According to the new school timings schools will commence at 8:00 am till 2:30 pm.
Authorities have changed school timings after the return of pleasant weather conditions and the end of the harsh cold wave.
According to the latest update, boys’ schools in Lahore and other cities in Punjab will commence at 8:30 am and end at 2:30 pm. On the other hand, girls’ schools will start their classes from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm.

The Friday timings for boys’ schools are from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm, whereas girls’ schools conclude at noon. Additionally, the caretaker Punjab government has also made changes in schools operating in double shifts.
Additionally, modifications were implemented by authorities in educational institutions that functioned in double schedules. The revised timetable shows the government’s intent to improve the educational atmosphere for younger students, who are currently on a month-long holiday.
