KARACHI: The chemical examination reports of the samples taken from the body of model and actress Humaira Asghar, who was found dead in a flat in Defense Phase 6, have arrived.

Investigations are underway into the mysterious death of Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar.

According to officials, 9 samples from Humaira Asghar’s body were sent to the forensic lab of the University of Karachi.

However, the police say that the chemical examination reports of the samples taken from the actress’s body have arrived.

According to the investigating authorities, no evidence of poisoning was found during the chemical analysis.

DIG South says that the cause of death will be officially announced by the Medicolegal Officer (MLO) tomorrow.

Case Background:

The post-mortem report of model Humaira Asghar, whose body was discovered earlier this week from an apartment in Karachi’s Defence Phase VI, reveals shocking details, including that the death occurred 8 to 10 months ago.

According to the post-mortem report prepared by Police Surgeon Summaiya Syed, the body of the model was in bad condition as her nails were detached from her fingers, her face was unrecognizable, and the lower part of her body had completely decomposed.

Police confirmed on Tuesday that the body of actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found in an apartment in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority.

According to DIG South Syed Asad Raza, the body was found in a flat in Ittehad Commercial Phase VI. In an official statement, Gizri police identified the deceased as a 32-year-old actress and estimated that she had died about two weeks before her body was found.

DIG Raza explained that the Gizri police were following a court order to vacate the apartment. When officers arrived at 3:15 pm and did not receive any response after knocking, they broke the lock and entered the premises, where they found the body. The crime scene unit was then called to collect forensic evidence.

Ali was staying in the apartment as a tenant. DIG Raza said that the condition of the body suggests that he had been there for several days.
