The Show was last aired on Geo Entertainment from December 2013 to April 2014 with Ali Azmat, Bushra Ansari, and Hadiqa Kiani as the panelists.
The last show was received well by audiences, with over a million online votes in the final show that concluded with Zamad Baig winning the competition.
Format distributor Fremantle has granted production firm MHL Global the rights to Pakistan Idol in order to bring the singing competition series back to life.
MHL Director Zoya Merchant said, “Pakistan has incredible musical talent, and this platform will not only spotlight it nationwide but elevate it to the global stage.”
The company has stated that it intends to broadcast the program on five distinct networks, which is unprecedented for any Idol series, to reach more viewers across the nation’s several languages and geographic areas.
The contestant can register themselves on the online platform and the mobile application “Begin”.
In-person casting calls will be held later in major cities and distant places in Pakistan to ensure a varied pool of competitors.
