LAHORE: Renowned YouTuber Rajab Butt has left Pakistan after the recent controversy and legal action against him and has announced a temporary break from vlogging.
Rajab Butt is accused of allegedly insulting Islamic figures in his content, on which a petition has also been filed in the Lahore High Court.
Rajab Butt did not reveal his current location; however, in a recent TikTok live session, he hinted at his presence abroad by mentioning Dubai and Pakistan time.
He clarified that he has stopped vlogging but will continue to come live on TikTok.
In his live session, Rajab Butt said that he will not upload any new vlog without his mother’s permission.
According to him, his mother is worried about the current situation, and she came to the airport to drop him off, giving top priority to her son’s safety.
Rajab Butt said that he is not saying goodbye to vlogging, but will wait for the situation to improve for now.
He added that he has recorded videos for clarification, which he will release at the appropriate time.
Famous YouTuber, Rajab Butt, is once again making headlines as a petition has been filed in the Lahore Sessions Court to register a case against him.
Shahzad Adnan, through his lawyer Mudassar Chaudhry, has filed the petition against Rajab Butt. The petition has taken the position that in the social media video, Rajab Butt uttered insulting words in the honor of the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The petition stated that the NCCIA was approached against Rajab Butt, but the case was not registered. The court should order the NCCIA to register the case.
The Additional Sessions Judge issued notices while taking action. It should be remembered that Rajab Butt has faced various cases before this, too.
After this new controversial video, Rajab Butt posted a story on social media while traveling in a plane in which he wrote that ‘If you want to be famous, then go outside Pakistan and do it.’
