Zainab Abbas welcomes second child with joyful post

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani cricket presenter Zainab Abbas has welcomed her second child, she announced in a heartwarming Instagram post.

Pakistan’s favorite sports host shared some adorable pictures on a social media site, which were admired by her fans.

Zainab shared her picture holding a newborn with both glowing in the sunlight, making it a heart-winning picture, while the second photo featured her first child smiling while holding his little brother.

In the post, the mother wrote an affectionate caption, “Life update: T’s little brother has arrived just in time to ring in the New Year. Haider Hamza Kardar bringing in so much joy and love to the family, not to forget some precious sleepless nights too.”

Zainab’s fans and friends from the cricketing fraternity were quick to shower the post’s comments with congratulations and warm wishes.

Erin Holland, a famous Australian cricket host, wrote, “Congrats gorgeous! He is divine.”

Zainab, who featured in major cricket tournaments including World Cups, married Hamza Kardar in 2019, the grandson of Pakistan’s cricketing legend Hafeez Kardar. She gave birth to her first child in 2021.

Zainab Abbas has been acknowledged as one of the popular faces of Pakistan’s sports media.
