Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt has faced legal proceedings after appearing before the Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi in connection with the Muneeb Butt interim bail case involving allegations of short-term kidnapping and facilitation of suspects.

“The actor had already got protective bail from Islamabad High Court before appearing before Karachi Anti-Terrorism Court,” the details read. The court during the hearing gave him interim bail, providing him relief while investigations continue in the case.

The reports suggest that Muneeb Butt is accused of allegedly helping two people involved in the incident. The case registered at Airport Police Station has multiple nominated suspects, including a police constable and a few others identified in the FIR.

The complainant said the incident occurred on April 22 when he was allegedly stopped by a double-cabin vehicle on his way to Lahore. He also said he was taken to different places during the alleged kidnapping and later found out there were unauthorized transactions, including a reported transfer of $8,600 from his bank account.

Muneeb Butt’s interim bail case is still under active investigation, and authorities are collecting evidence and recording statements of all the parties involved. Proceedings are under way at the Anti-Terrorism Court, and further hearings are expected in the coming days.
