1000 federal govt officials to get promotions

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has scheduled a significant meeting of the Central Selection Board (CSB) which is scheduled to take place on March 10, 2025, and will last for four days.

According to the notification Establishment Division, the agenda and working papers for the meeting will be released soon. The board will be presided over by Federal Public Service Commission Chairman Lt-Gen (R) Akhtar Nawaz Sati and will sanction promotions from grade 19 to grade 20 and grade 20 to 21.

The meeting holds much significance as it will deal with the promotions of nearly 1,000 government officers from grades 20 and 21.

Additionally, a High-Power Selection Board (HPSB) meeting will likely take place at the end of this month, dealing with those promotions from BS-21 to BS-22, allowing for at least 40 officers to be promoted to grade 22.
