271 PTI activists booked for violence in PP-52 by-election

SIALKOT: Cases have been registered against 271 PTI activists for snatching ballot boxes and ballot papers during the PP-52 by-election.

The case includes 21 nominated and 250 unknown persons. According to the text, an attempt was made to take the staff hostage at polling station 63.

The case was registered on the complaint of SHO Sambrial police station. The sections of attack on a police party, injury to personnel, and attempt to murder have been included.

It should be remembered that the Muslim League (N) won the PP-52 Sambrial by-election, the PTI-supported candidate came in second place.
