Air Force Day observed nationwide to honour 1965 war role

ISLAMABAD: Air Force Day is being celebrated across the country today in memory of the air battle fought on September 7 in the 1965 war.

On September 7, 1965, the falcons of the Pakistan Air Force created a history of courage and bravery.

The soldiers of the Pakistan Air Force bravely destroyed the enemy’s evil intentions.

In the 1965 war, MM Alam created a history of bravery in the war between Pakistan and India.

With his aviation exploits, Squadron Leader MM Alam crushed the enemies and shot down 5 enemy Indian warplanes to the ground in one minute.

This feat of theirs is a golden chapter in the history of the Pakistan Air Force, which is considered a miracle.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s tribute on Air Force Day

Paying tribute to the Pakistan Air Force, the Prime Minister said in his message on Air Force Day that he is proud that the Pakistan Air Force has made its mark in air combat.

The invincible, multi-faceted combat capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force are proof of their innovation.

He said that the Pakistan Air Force has proven that the enemy can never defeat passion.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Pakistan Air Force played a decisive role in the Battle of Haq Bunyan Marsus. The Pakistan Air Force stunned the world by crushing the enemy from all sides.
