LAHORE: The protest of passengers against Airblue at Lahore Airport has intensified as cancellations and delays of flights have become a routine.

The reason for the protest is the continuous cancellation and delay of flights, which is causing severe hardship and distress to passengers.

According to sources, Airblue’s flight PA 401 to Karachi has been canceled three times since yesterday.

The flight was scheduled to depart from Lahore for Karachi yesterday morning, but it was postponed continuously due to a bird strike on the wing of the plane.

Passengers complained that they are being called to the airport repeatedly for PA 401, and each time the flight is canceled close to departure.

Passengers are protesting against this situation and are demanding immediate action from the administration.

Not only the flight to Karachi, but also the flight PA 412 to Sharjah was suddenly canceled, while the flight PA 481 to Skardu was delayed by five hours. This mismanagement has severely damaged Airblue’s reputation.

Travel agents say that due to the cancellation and delay of Airblue flights, other airlines have doubled their fares, causing additional financial burden on passengers.

Passengers say that thousands of people have been affected due to a poor strategy and a lack of timely management.

This situation has become the biggest problem for the travel industry and air passengers at present and aviation authorities are being urged to take immediate notice of the matter so that such problems can be avoided in the future.
