LAHORE: The Punjab government has started accepting online applications for the second phase of the Green Tractor Scheme.
The government will provide a subsidy of Rs 1 million per tractor of 75 horsepower or above for farmers owning seven acres or more.
20,000 tractors with billions of rupees in subsidies in 2025 will be provided by the government under the “Kisan Khushal, Punjab Khushal” programme.
Farmers can apply for the Green Tractor Scheme through the official portal by clicking (https://gts.punjab.gov.pk/).
The first phase will include a subsidy for 9,500 tractors (75-125 horsepower).
Applications will be accepted across the Bank of Punjab branch network.
Farmers will be chosen transparently using a computerized balloting mechanism.
Farmers can apply for the scheme till September 1, 2025.
