Airport Authority issues NOTAM on airspace closures

LAHORE: The Airport Authority has issued a NOTAM for the closure of airspace at different times.

In view of the regional situation, the Pakistan Air Force is on full alert to monitor Pakistan’s airspace, and a series of exercises of fighter jets are underway in the Lahore and Karachi Flight Information Region.

According to the Airport Authority’s NOTAM, it has been decided to close various sectors of the Lahore and Karachi Flight Information Region on January 14 and 15, and commercial flights have been instructed to exercise caution on this occasion.

Captains of commercial airlines have been instructed to fly aircraft through alternative routes.
