AJK govt announces Eid-ul-Adha holidays

MUZAFFARABAD: In a recent development, the Azad Kashmir government has announced public holidays for the ocassion of Eid-ul-Adha 2025.

According to the notification, the AJK residents will enjoy Eid holidays starting from June 06 to June 09, 2025.

Earlier, the Balochistan government announced Eid-ul-Adha holidays beginning from June 5, local media said on Monday.

The Eid holiday will be celebrated until June 8, with all government and private offices reopening on June 9 (Monday), which is the third day of the Eid.

The Eid-ul-Adha will be observed from June 7 to 9 throughout the country, said the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
