ISLAMABAD: Senior diplomat Shafqat Ali Khan has been appointed as the new spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, replacing Mumtaz Zahra Baloch.
The appointment came after the serving Foreign Office Spokesperson Baloch was appointed as Pakistan’s envoy to France.
Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan was currently serving as the Additional Secretary for Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He also served as Pakistan’s ambassador to Poland and Russia.
