Another woman gang-raped by robbers on Faisalabad-Multan Motorway

FAISALABAD: Three armed robbers looted and gang raped a woman on Faislabad-Multan Motorway in front of her husband, resembling the infamous 2020 Lahore-Sialkot Motorway incident.

The incident was reported in the jurisdiction of the Sandal Bar police station.

As per details, the suspects intercepted Adnan and his wife Shamaila on the Motorway, forcing them into nearby fields at gunpoint.

Afterward, they tied up the husband and subjected the wife to brutal gang rape and fled with the couple’s mobile phones and cash.

The victim’s husband registered a complaint with the police.

Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar took notice of the incident and formed a special team led by SP Iqbal Town Abid Zafar and constituted of DSP Circle and SHOs.

SP Iqbal Town Abid Zafar assured that all criminals involved in the crime would be arrested soon and that police raids were actively being conducted to bring the perpetrators to justice.
