LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the initiative for launching a three-marla plot scheme for residents across the province under the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” project.
During the meeting, it was decided that the scheme would first be started from Chistian, where 666 plots will be distributed to eligible individuals.
“The number of registered users on the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ portal has exceeded 600,000, whereas more than 325,000 applications have been received via portal to construct houses under the scheme,” the officials said.
They said the target of building 47,000 houses by June and 100,000 by December next year would be completed.
