Azad Kashmir govt extends winter holidays for colleges till January 4

MUZAFFARABAD: The Education Department of Azad Kashmir has announced an extension in the winter vacation for all government and private educational institutions in the region.

According to a notification issued by the department, the winter vacation has been extended till January 4. This decision has been made in response to the severe cold weather conditions that are prevailing in the area.

The Education Department, due to a severe cold spell caused by heavy winds, has decided to extend the winter vacation from January 4 to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of students.

This development comes after the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab extended the winter vacations amid the increasing cold temperatures in Pakistan. According to Met Office, Pakistan is set to experience temperatures in minus during late evenings, nights.
