ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted widespread rain and heavy snowfall across the country during the first week of January 2025, warning of possible road closures and severe cold wave in the upper reaches.
According to the Meteorological Department, a western weather system is likely to enter Pakistan between January 1 and 6, bringing rain, thunderstorms and snowfall to many areas.
