KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours.
Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 12°C. However, the city will witness a significant drop in temperatures as winter is scattering its roots in Pakistan. The humidity in the city varies up to 39% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 13 km/h.
According to Met Office’s latest predictions, the weather is likely to remain cold and dry in most parts of the country while it will be very cold and partly cloudy in the upper areas. However, light rain/light snowfall is likely at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas. Fog is expected to prevail in the plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the night.
