Benazir Hunarmand Program launches free skill training

ISLAMABAD:  The Benazir Hunarmand Program aims to make BISP beneficiaries or their families skilled so that they can earn their own livelihood.

Beneficiaries or their families can receive free technical vocational training, monthly stipend, graduation bonus, certificates, and employment opportunities through the Benazir Hunarmand Program.

Its courses include IT, health, hotel management, construction, beauty services, fashion and textiles. The duration of the courses is 3 to 6 months.

It should be noted that only BISP beneficiaries or their family members can enroll in the Benazir Hunarmand Program.

Here are the conditions and procedures listed on the program’s official website

  • Only beneficiaries registered in the Benazir Income Support Program’s dynamic registry are eligible to join the Benazir Hunarmand Program.
  • The minimum educational requirement for joining the program is matriculation.
  • The age limit is set at 18 to 40 years.
  • This portal (https://hunarmand.bisp.gov.pk) is for registration only, after which the decision to join the program will be made only after the applications are reviewed.
  • Only one person from a household can register for the program.
  • To be part of the program, register on the BISP portal or visit the nearest Tehsil Office with an original ID card and active mobile number.
