LAHORE: The federal government has announced an increase in the Benazir Educational Stipends (Benazir Taleemi Wazaif), here on Wednesday.

As per the details, the revised stipend amount will be effective from January 2025 and is expected to benefit more than 60 lakh students across the country.

This stipend will be distributed to mothers of students from nursery to twelfth standard, parents need to be registered with Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to be eligible for these financial benefits.

Benazir Education Scholarships 2024

The purpose of the stipend increase is to encourage families to prioritize education while reducing the financial burden of schooling.

Families enrolled in BISP can apply for education scholarships for their children, receiving quarterly installments with additional support for their education.

The registration process has been simplified with the launch of the BISP Resource Education App.

To ensure eligibility, parents should verify that the mother’s ID card number is entered correctly on their child’s B-Form to avoid payment issues.

If children change schools, parents must obtain a new endowment slip to continue receiving support.
