Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Pakistan – On the solemn occasion of the 16th death anniversary of his mother, Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari officially inaugurated the party’s election campaign for the upcoming polls scheduled for February 8, 2024. Addressing a gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Bilawal unveiled a comprehensive 10-point agenda, focusing on welfare initiatives that his party aims to implement if voted into power.

  1. Salary Doubling Initiative: The PPP pledges to double salaries within five years, aiming to uplift the economic well-being of the citizens.
  2. Green Energy for the Poor: Introducing a plan to provide free solar energy of 300 units to economically disadvantaged individuals, along with the establishment of green energy parks in every district.
  3. Education for All: The party commits to enhancing the education sector by implementing projects aimed at improving the overall quality of education across the country.
  4. Universal Healthcare: Ensuring free healthcare services for all citizens throughout Pakistan to address health disparities and promote well-being.
  5. Housing for the Needy: Proposing the construction of three million houses for individuals affected by floods and those living in poverty.
  6. Welfare Expansion: Planning to expand the scope of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and introducing additional welfare schemes to support vulnerable populations.
