Bilawal-led diplomatic delegation reaches UK following successful US visit

LONDON: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari-led high-level Pakistani diplomatic delegation has reached the United Kingdom after concluding a week-long successful engagement with United States and United Nations officials.

The nine-member delegation was involved in more than 50 meetings over a period of five days to present Pakistan’s stance regarding the recent the India aggression against Islamabad and regional peace.

In a post on X on Saturday, former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto said, “wrapped up a pivotal peace mission leading Pakistan’s high-level delegation in New York and Washington, DC”.

He expressed gratitude to “Team Pakistan, your dedication was critical to our success. We stood for dialogue, dignity, and a just future. Truth and Diplomacy works!”

As per the details, the diplomatic delegation is expected to brief British officials on Pakistan’s stance regarding tensions with India on Sunday. Bilawal Bhutto is also scheduled to address three major British think tanks.

The delegation include Hina Rabbani Khar, Senator Sherry Rehman, Dr Musadik Malik, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Jalil Abbas Jilani, Tehmina Janjua, Bushra Anjum Butt and Syed Faisal Subzwari.
