NEW YORK: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who led a high-level diplomatic delegation from Pakistan, suggested that the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) work together against terrorists.
Addressing a press conference at the United Nations headquarters in New York, Bilawal said that if the ISI and RAW work together against terrorists, terrorism in both countries can be significantly reduced.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto demanded the establishment of a joint forum between Pakistan and India to uproot terrorism.
The Pakistani delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto has met with representatives of the Pakistan Caucus in the US Congress.
The delegation termed India’s suspension of the Indus Water Treaty as a clear violation of international law and said that for lasting peace in South Asia, there should be dialogue between Pakistan and India, not war.
The event, held at the Cannon House Building in front of Capitol Hill, was hosted by New York Democrat Congressman Tom Swasey.
He said that he wants peace with India but not on conditions. Peace can only be achieved through negotiations and diplomacy.
He said that he wants to ask the world what will be the reaction if someone’s lifeline is cut off? The international community should play a role before the situation worsens.
India raises a clamor about terrorism but does not work with Pakistan to eliminate it.
