ISLAMABAD: The District and Session Court Islamabad on Thursday granted interim bail to Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, in cases related to the November 26 protest.
Duty Judge Shabeer Bhatti heard the pre-arrest bail pleas and approved it until January 13 against surety bonds of Rs. 50,000 each.
Bushra Bibi appeared before the court with her lawyers to seek interim bail in four cases registered at Tarnol police station and Ramna police station over the November 26 protest.
Earlier today, Bushra Bibi arrived at the Judicial Complex to get bail from Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). However, she later moved to district and session court following the unavailability of judges in the judicial complex.
