ANKARA: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir arrived in Türkiye on a two-day official visit, according to security sources.
Upon his arrival, the Field Marshal received a warm welcome from Turkish officials and military representatives.
The security sources added that during his stay in Turkey, the field marshal is due to attend several meetings with the military and political leaders of Turkiye to deliberate on issues of mutual interest and regional security.
His visit will reinforce the long-standing partnership and defense relations existing between Pakistan and Turkiye, which have been continuously growing in the past years in diverse fields.
Officials said the discussions will focus on enhancing military cooperation, regional stability and collaboration in defence-related fields between the two brotherly countries.
