CM Maryam Nawaz launches ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar scheme’ in DG Khan

DG KHAN: In a ceremony held at the Commissioner’s Office in DG Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz officially launched the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ initiative, a flagship housing program aimed at transforming access to housing in the region.

The event featured a lottery draw, which selected the program’s first beneficiaries, with Abdul Latif emerging as the winner. Successful applicants will receive their first loan installment by September 15.

Key Features of Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Scheme 

  • Loan amount: Up to 1.5 million rupees
  • Repayment structure: Monthly installments of 14,000 rupees
  • Repayment period: 7 years

Earlier, Provincial Information Minister Azma Bokhari announced that over 80,000 people have registered for the program, demonstrating the overwhelming response to this groundbreaking initiative.

The ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ program is set to revolutionize housing access in Punjab, providing affordable housing solutions to thousands of individuals and families across the region.
