CM Punjab Maryam ‘Asaan Karobar Card’ latest application status

LAHORE: In a recent move, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reviewed the progress and development of the Asaan Karobar Card and Asaan Karobar Finance schemes.

Applicants may run into issues like Excise Verification, NADRA Verification, PMD Verification, or BOP Verification errors during the scheme’s extensive verification process.

Simple actions like settling debts with the Excise department, updating personal data with NADRA, or adjusting CNIC-related cell numbers will frequently fix these problems.

For people who have problems with their bank records or whose applications are still being reviewed.

Step 1: Open the Portal and log in. Visit the Karobar Card Portal for Asaan. Press the “Login” icon. To access your account, enter your CNIC and password.

Access your application form in step two. Go to your application form after logging in. There, you will find the information of your application.

Step 3: Verify the Status of Your Application The status of your application will be displayed at the top of your application form. Potential alternatives for status: “The processing of your application is underway.” “Confirmed” Error Messages (if any problems exist)

Here’s how to apply for the Asaan Karobar Scheme

  1. Create an account: Register through the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) portal using your CNIC-linked mobile number.
  2. Fill out the application: Allocate at least 15 minutes to complete the form.
  3. Pay the fee: Submit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 5,000 for Tier 1 or Rs 10,000 for Tier 2.
  4. Apply: Upload the required documents and submit the form.
  5. Track status: Receive a registration number and SMS updates regarding your application status.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be aged between 21 and 57 years.
  • Have a valid CNIC and a registered mobile number.
  • Own or plan a business located in Punjab.
  • Be a tax filer with a clean credit history.
  • Provide references and documentation related to business and residence.

Additionally, small businesses with annual sales of up to Rs150 million and medium-sized businesses with annual sales between Rs150 million and Rs800 million are eligible to apply.
