CM Punjab Solar Scheme 2024 announced: Complete guide to apply online

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has recently launched the Pujab Roshan Gharana Scheme 2024 under which CM Maryam announced the distribution of 50,000 solar panels across the province.

Amidst the global shift towards renewable energy, through the Punjab Roshan Gharana Scheme, the government aimed to provide citizens with clean energy. The objective of this scheme is to advocate for the adoption of solar energy in households and businesses nationwide.

With the Budget outlay of Rs 12.6 billion, in Phase-I solar systems will be given to 50,000 protected consumers using 100 units monthly through balloting.

Eligibility Criteria for the Punjab Solar Panel Scheme

Below are the standard eligibility requirements for the Punjab Roshan Gharana Scheme 2024:

• Must be a Pakistani citizen.
• Must have a valid CNIC( Computerized National Identity Card).
• Must own the property or have authorization from the property proprietor for solar panel installation.

How to register for Punjab Roshan Gharana Scheme

The online registration process for the Punjab Roshan Gharana Scheme 2024 will be live soon for citizens.

To register visit the designated official website of the Punjab Roshan Gharana Program 2024. Applicants can also visit any Bank of Punjab branch to apply for the scheme.

Once your account is set up, fill out the application form. Fill in all the required details accurately including property, current electricity consumption, and proposed solar panel system. Similarly, if you visit any Bank of Punjab branch, fill in the application form that you receive.

After filling out the application form, review all provided information to ensure accuracy and submit your application.

After your application is submitted, the authorities will review and approve your application. After approval, it will be eligible for balloting.

You will receive a notification regarding the status of your application once it’s approved. Upon approval, the next steps will involve the installation of the solar panel system at your property.

• Property power documents or authorization letters from the property proprietor
