LAHORE: Nadeem Mubarak, popularly known as Nadeem Naniwala, is finally free from recent arrest following a fake and unauthorized number plate case.

The Cantt court in Lahore ordered his release after the police failed to provide sufficient evidence to support allegations of using an illegal number plate on his vehicle.

The court ruled in his favor on Thursday, noting that the statement of recovery, crucial in proving the allegations, was missing from the case records.

Earlier, Nadeem was arrested on Monday by Defense police during a routine check near Main Boulevard Defence, Lahore, where his car’s number plate “IK 804” was found to be counterfeit.

The police had requested a 14-day judicial remand to keep him in custody while investigations continued, but the judicial magistrate denied the plea.

This outcome highlights the importance of due process and the need for solid evidence in criminal cases. Nadeem’s fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as he’s cleared of the charges.
