Earthquake tremors felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, other KP cities

ISLAMABAD: Earthquake vibrations were felt throughout the nation, including in Azad Kashmir and Islamabad at 3:50 p.m. local time on Thursday,

Several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Islamabad, Malakand, Hazara, Swat, and Muzaffarabad, experienced tremors.

According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center in Islamabad, the epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindukush mountains, at a depth of 212 kilometers. The earthquake’s shocks were recorded at 5.2 on the Richter scale.
