ISLAMABAD: Easypaisa has officially acknowledged a service disruption after users across Pakistan reported issues with the platform for nearly 10 to 12 hours.

In a statement posted on its official social media accounts, the company confirmed that some users were experiencing intermittent service disruptions affecting various services, including login access, fund transfers, bill payments, and other financial transactions.

“Some users have been affected by service interruptions. Our teams are actively working to resolve the issue and restore services as quickly as possible,” Easypaisa said.

Throughout the day, users from different parts of the country took to social media to report difficulties accessing their accounts and completing transactions. Many also questioned why the company took several hours to issue an official explanation despite widespread complaints.

As one of Pakistan’s largest digital financial platforms, Easypaisa has more than 59 million registered accounts. The disruption is believed to have affected a significant number of users, sparking concern and criticism on social media.

The company has assured customers that its technical teams are working continuously to restore normal operations and resolve the issue at the earliest.
