ISLAMABAD: Easypaisa has clarified that the company is fully operational, secure and committed to its mission of financial inclusion in Pakistan, dismissing rumors circulating about its future and continuity of services.

A statement issued by Easypaisa said that the news circulating on social media and various platforms about its closure or service disruption is baseless and fake. The company clarified that Easypaisa is not only continuing its services but is also providing digital financial facilities to its customers in a stronger manner than before.

According to the statement, Easypaisa started as Pakistan’s first mobile wallet in 2008 and has provided safe, reliable and modern financial services to millions of Pakistanis over the past several years. The company says that after cementing its position as Pakistan’s first and largest digital bank in 2025, it has introduced more innovative features for its customers.

Easypaisa said that it operates under the regulations of the State Bank of Pakistan and that customer funds are completely safe. According to the company, it currently has over 60 million registered customers across Pakistan who rely on the platform for daily financial transactions, bill payments, mobile banking and other digital services.
