Eidul Fitr 2025: Bonus announced for govt employees

ISLAMABAD: According to an official notification, the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced Eid-ul-Fitr rewards for its employees, offering a bonus equal to one basic salary.

Who is eligible for bonus?

Employees with more than six months of service will receive the bonus, as well as all categories of employees, including:

  • Confirmed staff
  • Contractual employees
  • Daily wage workers
  • Employees on deputation

Consultants and advisors will receive 60% of their package as a reward.

Who is not eligible?

  • Employees on earned leave, leave preparatory to retirement (LPR), or extraordinary leave.
  • Employees who have been convicted of any offense or found guilty of misconduct.
