Eight security personnel injured in Kalat IED blast

KALAT: Eight security personnel were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack near the Takht area of District Kalat, Balochistan on Friday.

According to the details, the IED explosion occurred when the security forces vehicle was passing, which resulted in slightly injuring eight security personnel.

Deputy Commissioner Kalat Bilal Shabbir said that unknown persons planted an explosive device on the side of the road.

As soon as the incident was reported, the rescue and police officials shifted the injured personnel to the nearby hospital.

Levies and other security personnel cordoned off the area and started searching for the accused.
